Ink & Spindle textiles are lovingly printed by hand in our Abbotsford studio. Each length is printed in repeats down the length of our 13 metre table, using organic certified inks. Our fabrics are all 100% natural fibres, sourced from certified sustainable mills.

About this design:
Everyone loves the simplicity of a stripe but our challenge with this design was twofold – how to design a stripe that still encapsulated the essence of the Australian Landscape, and secondly how to deal with the technical challenge of printing unbroken lines down the length of our table. We love the way our Rainfall Stripe design tackles both these challenges – allowing the repeats to overlap slightly creates scattered accents in the stripe reminiscent of raindrops. These accents are more visible when lighter, more transparent inks are used, but less visible with darker inks our our opaque Snow ink. Note that we cannot render these accents accurately with our Customise tool but we are happy to send a digital mockup upon request.
